Bayern Munich have confirmed the permanent signing of Senegalese starlet Bara Sapoko Ndiaye, with the 18-year-old midfielder committing his future to the club until 2031.
Football never fails to produce a fairy tale. Having recently celebrated his 18th birthday, Bara Sapoko Ndiaye has completed a whirlwind ascent from a Gambian academy to the elite ranks of Bayern Munich.
A product of the Gambinos Stars academy, the midfielder first arrived in Bavaria on an initial six-month loan following a trial period with Swiss outfit Grasshopper.
The Munich hierarchy moved swiftly to secure his services on a permanent basis on Monday. The teenager has tied his future to the Allianz Arena, penning a contract that spans the next five seasons, keeping him at the club until 2031.
Ndiaye is already a known quantity in the first-team setup, having made four appearances for the German giants last season. He has continued to catch the eye during the current pre-season, featuring in two friendlies and finding the net in the clinical 15-0 dismantling of Rottach-Egern.
