Liverpool remain determined to sign Bradley Barcola from PSG and believe they are in a favorable position in the negotiations, according to reports from Ben Jacobs. The Reds value the French forward at approximately 100 million euros, while PSG had previously set an asking price of 170 million euros. Despite the huge gap, the English club understand that the figures could get closer as the transfer window progresses.
Jacobs believes that a potential signing of Ferran Torres by PSG could directly influence Barcola’s price tag. According to the journalist, the arrival of the Spaniard could cause the French club to lower their demands by around 20 to 30 million euros. At the same time, Liverpool would be willing to increase their initial offer by between 10 and 15 million euros, which would considerably reduce the distance between the two parties.
Liverpool’s interest in Barcola is considered strong, and the forward is also said to be open to the possibility of moving to Anfield. Furthermore, no difficulties are expected in negotiations regarding salary issues or other personal terms. Given this scenario, the Reds remain optimistic that an agreement can be reached as August progresses and the transfer market enters its final stretch.
