Pep Guardiola has ruled out Rodrigo Hernandez for Manchester City’s visit to Fulham. The Spanish midfielder is still sidelined with a hamstring injury that has kept him out of action since October.
Rodrigo Hernandez, the Manchester City midfielder, remains unavailable and will miss Tuesday’s match against Fulham due to the hamstring injury he sustained in October, which has already caused him to miss nine games.
“Rodri isn’t fully recovered yet. I don’t know if he’ll be fit in time for the game against Sunderland next Saturday,” Pep Guardiola stated on Monday during the pre-match press conference.
The Spanish international initially injured his hamstring on October 5th in a match against Brentford and made a fleeting reappearance on November 2nd in the victory against Bournemouth, coming on as a late substitute.
However, he has since suffered a setback with the muscular problem and will also be absent for the midweek game against Fulham.
Across all competitions, Rodri has only managed to play eight matches this season, following a cruciate ligament rupture in September 2024 that sidelined him for almost the entire campaign.
