Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones was left speechless after the Reds were crushed by PSV at Anfield in the Champions League by a score of 4-1, marking the English team’s ninth defeat in their last 12 matches in all competitions.
Liverpool’s poor season, considering their great 2024/25 campaign and the money they spent in the summer transfer window, has left many Reds fans speechless, including players such as Curtis Jones.
After Liverpool suffered their ninth defeat in their last 12 games at the hands of PSV, the English midfielder said he didn’t “have the words” and that they would try to get the team back to where it needs to be.
“I don’t have the answers. Honestly, I don’t. It’s just unacceptable,” he told RTE. “I’m past being angry inside. I’m at the point now where I just don’t have the words.
“We’re going to try and get this team back to where it needs to be, show everyone again what this club is about and why people call it the best team in the world but right now, we’re in the sh** and it needs to change,” concluded the 24-year-old.
