Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos has offered a surprisingly candid take on Liverpool’s record-breaking signing of Alexander Isak.

The former German midfielder told his podcast audience that “more or less, half have never heard of Isak,” suggesting that the Sweden striker remains largely unknown outside certain football circles.
“Is Isak joining Liverpool for a huge fee? I trust our listeners, but I’d say roughly half of them have never even heard of him. Judge for yourself,” Kroos said.
