Gabri Veiga is back in European football. After becoming one of the first youngsters to emigrate to Saudi Arabia, the Spain youth international has signed for Porto.
The Portuguese side have rushed to sign the Spanish striker for 15 million euros plus another four million euros in variables. The former Celta Vigo player has signed a contract until 2030.
Porto will be able to count on the player in the next Club World Cup. In fact, he becomes the first signing of the Portuguese team and will be able to make his debut against Palmeiras next Sunday.
Al Ahli, who had no need to sell players, have kept 10% of a future sale of a player who, at just 23 years of age, still has his whole future ahead of him.
