The Paris Court of Appeal has ordered Kylian Mbappe to pay €60,000 to Paris Saint-Germain after precautionary measures triggered a freeze on the club’s funds.
According to ‘L’Équipe’, the ruling represents a victory for the Parisian outfit over the current Real Madrid player, even if the sum falls well short of their initial demands.
The dispute stems from Kylian Mbappe’s transfer from PSG to Real Madrid. The forward was demanding unpaid wages and outstanding bonuses worth €55.4 million, with his legal team securing a freezing order on PSG’s bank accounts in 2025.
However, the Court of Appeal has now determined that the action caused financial harm to PSG and fixed the compensation at €60,000, despite the French judicial system having already overturned the precautionary measures at the time.
