The Spanish manager showered Maghnes Akliouche with praise following his summer switch from Monaco, marvelling at his versatility and technical quality.
“I love everything about Maghnes Akliouche. Everything. He was the best, or one of the best players on the pitch,” declared Luis Enrique in the press room following the 3-1 victory sealed by the new PSG recruit’s late strike.
“The way he operates as a false ‘9’, the way he performs out wide, how he navigates midfield. His technical and physical capabilities… I already knew him, but he has surprised me. I am delighted to have him with us,” added the Asturian tactician.
The 24-year-old Frenchman arrived from Monaco this summer in a deal worth €50 million.
