The Brazilian midfielder is awaiting final clearance before being confirmed as the Gunners’ latest marquee signing.
According to Eduardo Burgos of Diario AS, Bruno Guimaraes has already participated in his first training session with the Arsenal squad. However, the North London club are yet to officially announce the transfer.
The hold-up is reportedly due to minor bureaucratic hurdles that are still being ironed out before the move is formally sanctioned.
Arsenal reached a £75 million agreement with Newcastle to secure the midfielder’s services. Having served as the ‘Magpies’ captain over the last two seasons, the Brazilian is now poised to begin a new chapter of his career in the capital.
