Eberechi Eze has dismissed any notion of feeling pressure over his £60million move to Arsenal, saying his faith and belief system keep him grounded.
Eberechi Eze says he is not feeling the pressure that comes with his £60million transfer from Crystal Palace to Arsenal.
The England international joined the Gunners in the summer and has already settled into life at the Emirates. Speaking on the Beast Mode On podcast, Eze said: “Pressure? For me? No. Pressure, no, because I think that is just how my belief system is set up.”
He explained that his self-belief and faith help him remain calm despite expectations surrounding the fee. “They pay that money because you are worth that money,” he added, insisting that his focus is simply on performing to his best.
Eze described the move as “an opportunity to go play, do my stuff, be the player that I know I can be”. The 26-year-old also called Arsenal “a special place”, expressing his excitement about the team’s ambitions under Mikel Arteta.
