Former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane, who has not coached since leaving the Spanish club in 2021, has left a clear and concise message about his possible return to the dugout.
One of the biggest unknowns in European football is which team Zinedine Zidane will manage next, after the French coach has been away from the dugout since leaving his second spell at Real Madrid in 2021.
After being linked with big clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and even a third spell at Real Madrid, everything recently pointed to Zidane returning to coaching when he would replace Didier Deschamps at the helm of the French national team after the 2026 World Cup.
However, Fabrizio Romano has reported a clear and concise message from the iconic French midfielder, who said that “it will happen soon, very soon” when asked when he would be seen back at the helm of a new team.
This has generated much speculation as it could refer to him choosing to sign for another team instead of leading France after the next World Cup, although everything points to Zidane referring to coaching ‘Les Bleus’ after the summer of 2026.
