Vitor Roque is facing his most difficult days as a Barcelona player. With less than a month to go until the market closes in Spain, the 18-year-old Brazilian striker sees how the doors of the Catalan side are closing on him despite his arrival last January.

On Sunday, the Brazilian was absent from training for the second day in a row. Barcelona claim fever and malaise after being auscultated by the medical services. In principle, Vitor Roque should not be available for this Monday’s game against Monaco.

The Brazilian came to Barcelona’s training complex on Sunday to be checked by the doctors. After half an hour, he retook the car and headed home. Barcelona intend to release him in the summer market, not as a transfer but as a loan.

His agent Andre Cury and Deco have met this week to try to elucidate the destiny of the young Brazilian striker. Porto, Lazio, Napoli and teams from Saudi Arabia have asked about his situation, although there is still no formal offer.
